Peveril is the only club in the Isle of Man with facilities for rifle, pistol and practical shooting. Range Certification is based on maximum Muzzle Velocity and Muzzle Energy for firearms being used on them. In General terms our three ranges are capable of accommodating the following calibres; the 50 metre range is certified for rifles (up to .338 calibre) and pistols; Our 25 metre range is certified for pistols up to .50 calibre, .22lr rifles, pistol calibre rifle and carbines (up to .44 Magnum); the practical range has a similar certification to the 25 metre range. Black powder rifles, black powder pistols and shotguns up to 12 gauge can be used on all of the ranges.
